Your story matters—let's explore it together.
Your experiences are complex and deeply personal. I’m here to provide understanding, guidance, and a safe space where you can address the impact of identity-based issues and inequities and focus on building the life and self-understanding you deserve.
Pack light.
Therapy with me is like putting down a heavy backpack you didn't realise you were carrying—each session lightens your load, eases your burdens, and helps you move forward with a renewed sense of lightness, freedom and clarity, especially when facing systemic inequality, marginalisation, and oppression.

Frequently Asked Questions
Absolutely! I offer a free, 20 minute clarity call. I understand how important it is to find the right therapist, so this no-obligation call will give you the chance to ask any questions and get a feel for how I work. It will also help me understand what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to achieve.
If you're ready, you can book your free consultation now.
We'll go over the therapy agreement and confidentiality details briefly. Then, I'll ask some questions about what brought you to therapy, your current situation, and your personal history. If there are any risks, like self-harm, we'll address those, along with your hopes and expectations for therapy.
We’ll create a safe and supportive space together where you can explore your challenges and opportunities without pressure or pretence. No jargon, no psychobabble—just real conversations, full of warmth and humour, because life is both light and shade and I am deeply serious and unserious in equal measure! Expect the occasional pop culture reference, a well-placed metaphor, or a book, podcast, or resource to spark your own learning and exploration. I might recommend journalling or some such, but know that alone, it’s unlikely to be the answer.
I’ll challenge you, but never in a confrontational or judgmental way—always with compassion and a genuine commitment to your growth. We won’t avoid the hard stuff, including the systemic challenges that make life tougher. Instead, we’ll navigate it together, making sense of your experiences and finding ways to move forward in a way that feels right for you.
Therapy sessions last 50 minutes. They usually take place at the same time each week, but I try to be flexible to fit your schedule. If you need more than one session a week, I’m happy to arrange that as well.
I offer therapy on an open-ended basis, so the number of sessions is entirely up to you. Most people start with around eight sessions, but we’ll have regular reviews to see if more or fewer sessions are needed.
Sessions are £75 each. Limited lower-cost spaces are available. See below for more.
Yes! I am committed to making therapy accessible to as many people as possible. To support this, I offer a limited number of lower-cost spaces, capped at a maximum of 12 sessions. Please don't hesitate to ask about this option if you feel it would be helpful—there is no need to feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. If I have a space available, you are welcome to it—no questions asked.
A minimum of 24 hours is required to reschedule or cancel sessions. With the exception of emergencies, the full fee will be charged if changes are not made within the specified time.
Should you wish to terminate therapy, please provide one week's notice. It's important that we do our best to bring our time together to a smooth and satisfactory end.
I follow the BACP Ethical Framework for the Counselling Professions. I also adhere to data protection laws, which ensure that all sessions are kept completely confidential, except in a few key situations, like when there’s a risk of harm to you or others. We'll talk about such exceptions in our first session.
I work online via Microsoft Teams or by phone.
